International Service encompasses actions taken to expand Rotary’s humanitarian reach around the globe and to promote world understanding and peace.

The Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay is involved in many ongoing projects that involve other Rotary Clubs around the world. Currently, international Service is involved in a project to drill a well in India. The club has also provided a van for cataract surgery transportation and was also involved in a clean water project in Egypt.

The Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay also is involved in disaster relief and has made a contribution to help our friends in Japan. The club has joined the shelter box project in the past and other programs like the wheelchair project that help people in other countries without falling under the heading of a formal International Service program.
