The Kilauea Neighborhood Center and Gymnasium Complex in Kilauea Town is a hub of community activity for the entire North Shore of Kauai. It serves as the host location for many community events and meetings, youth sports and social activities, emergency shelter, and as a central gathering place in times of crisis.

The Rotary club of Hanalei Bay recently donated a public address system to the county for use in the facility. The system is used to improve the quality of community meetings, enhance youth sports and social activities, and allow large community gatherings and presentations that are exciting, interactive, and informative.

The system includes Mackie Self Amplified Speakers with tripod stands, Wired and Wireless Microphones, and a Multi-Channel Mixer.
