Donations

The Rotary Club of Hanalei operates as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Donations to the club are used locally in the community to support scholarships, and community projects. Some examples are, putting rescue tubes around the island to save lives. Supporting literacy, by providing dictionaries for 3rd grade children. Helping elders by building a gathering place in the courtyard of the Sam Mahelona hospital for senior citizens and their families. Preserving or community by helping repair the Hanalei Pier .

Internationally the funds are used to buy shelter boxes for disaster victims, clean water projects in emerging countries, scholarships for Rotary International Ambassadors and much more.

You can send tax deductible donations to:

The Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay recognizes our non- Rotarian "Circle of Friends" by honoring them at our annual Black and white Ball with Awards and recognition for their charitable contributions. Our club, our community and the world would be a lesser place without their support for the goals and objectives of Rotary.

If we are going to continue to enjoy the Hanalei Pier we have to repair it. You don't have to be an engineer to see the damage. The roof is torn up, the beams have dry rot, and the support struts have been torn out. The Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay working closely with the State of Hawaii, the County of Kauai and leading architectural and construction firms, is raising funds to repair the shed through its “SAVE THE PIER” project.
The fund-raising target for this project is $150,000. You can make donations to “SAVE THE PIER” through our tax free charitable 501c3 Foundation
