A group of 26 men and women from Hawaii Rotary Clubs went to the Philippines from March 24, to April 9. The group traveled to Southern Leyte Province to build homes for 20 of the poorest families who were victims of the massive mudslide in February 2006 that buried the village of Guinsaugon in Saint Bernard. The Rotary Club of Honolulu Project was supported by other Rotary Clubs, organizations, and individuals.
